Experience Universal Studios Singapore in a new light at "Universal After Hours" program
The evening may mark the end of an adventure-filled day for thrill-seeking buddies or "barkada" but in an integrated resort in Singapore, it is just the start of a more memorable night escapade.
Visitors heading to Resorts World Sentosa can now add an extra item to their must-do list, in addition to the other entertainment and dining offerings already available.
Included with regular theme park admission, Universal Studios Singapore introduces the all-new "Universal After Hours" night program, where guests can look forward to an illuminated parade, fireworks, food trucks, live entertainment and longer hours at the park on select nights.
At "Universal After Hours", Universal Studios Singapore presents the Hollywood Dreams Light-Up Parade where blockbuster movies come to life as characters dance alongside glowing floats.
Guests can expect to see characters from animated movie Madagascar grooving to a tribal drumbeat. They also get a chance to step into a fairytale world, watch a dinosaur chase down Jurassic Park rangers, and see Egyptian gods and mummies come alive.
Universal Studios Singapore will also be introducing a set of specially curated pop-up food carts to keep guests energized throughout the evening and these include menu items like Singapore Chili Crab Buns and Instagram-worthy Cheesy Toasts.
Guests can also purchase glowing accessories or glow in the dark face paint to gear up for the occasion.
Music lovers can look forward to live performances by some of Singapore’s local bands and dance along to the beats of Universal Studios Singapore’s very own Rhythm Truck.
For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the park’s rides and attractions are open all the way till 10pm, after which guests can catch a fireworks display choreographed to a rousing musical score.
Besides Universal After Hours, Resorts World Sentosa offers complimentary admission to its nightly live shows including Crane Dance, a light and water show taking place daily at 8 p.m., and the Lake of Dreams, a choreographed display of fire, water and light designed by Emmy award-winner Jeremy Railton at 11 PM every night.
Guests can also enjoy unique dining experiences at Resorts World Sentosa - from Southeast Asia’s only underwater aquarium dining experience at Ocean Restaurant, to authentic Singaporean dishes at the award-winning Sessions restaurant.
In addition, guests can sip on signature Hard Rock cocktails at The Rock Bar while enjoying high octane live bands till 1 a.m. every Friday and Saturday.
With many activities and programs to fill each evening, visitors have a wide range of options available to keep them entertained from day to night.
