MANILA, Philippines -- Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's match against Timothy Bradley yesterday spawned viral posts from fans around the world lamenting the outcome. Sour grapes accused organizers of rigging the bout, while others offered consolation for the Pinoy icon.

"Brace yourselves, 'Pacman fight is rigged' posts are coming," said one meme featuring Lord Eddard Stark of the series "Game of Thrones". The meme plays on House Stark's motto, "Winter is coming."

The next posts fulfill the first meme's prediction, asserting the judges did not know what they were doing, expressing disbelief at the outcome, and questioning how boxing matches are decided.

Some netizens clearly still have hangovers from the impeachment trial of former Chief Justice Renato Corona,  creating memes using a photo of Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago and comparing photos of him in a wheelchair to those of Corona.

They also wondered if Bradley could beat other famous "Filipino fighters" such as the Barrettos, who tussled with Mon Tulfo at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

People could not resist making fun of screen captures of Bradley hugging Pacquiao during the match.

Dionisia Pacquiao or "Mommy D" was not forgotten.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was not missed, either.

Though he lost, Filipinos said Pacquiao is still a leading Pinoy icon, because he is good at other things, too.

Beauty pageant runner-ups Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup's "advice" to Pacquiao? Take it easy and carry on.

It wasn't only Filipinos who created memes reacting to worldwide sports sensation Pacquiao's loss to Bradley. Memes were also created in Spanish.
