MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was gracious in defeat, after sustaining his fourth career loss against unbeaten American Timothy Bradley Jr. in controversial fashion yesterday in Las Vegas.

But his mother, Mommy Dionesia, lost her cool over the results of the bout.

In an interview on ABS-CBN’s “Umagang Kay Ganda,” the “PacMom” was seething with rage over what she calls the referee’s “foul” handling of the match.

Pacquiao pleaded with his mother to calm down and accept the judges’ split decision favoring Bradley.

The boxer also appealed to the Filipino people to do the same, and to leave boxing promoter Bob Arum and boxing officials to investigate the match.

He also urged Filipinos to look forward to the mandatory rematch in November. Headstart, ANC, June 11, 2012.
