MANILA, Philippines – New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin hit the practice courts at the Madison Square Garden Training Center in New York.

Lin is recovering from a left knee injury, and the big question for the Knicks during the playoffs is when the Asian-American guard will get back on court.

Lin suffered a torn meniscus in his knee, for which he had surgery four weeks ago.

While he seemed agile as he played some half-court scrimmages with his teammates, he did suffer from soreness this past weekend in Miami where he also joined team practice.

It is unclear whether he will be able to play in Game 3 against the Miami Heat.

Apart from Lin, various other members of the Knicks have also suffered from injuries. Forward Amar’e Stoudemire suffered a badly cut hand from an incident following his team’s 104-94 defeat to the Heat last Monday.

He struck a fire extinguisher to vent in frustration after the loss as he headed to the locker room.

The Knicks currently trail the Miami heat two games to none in their best-of-7 first round series.  Mornings @ ANC, May 3, 2012
