MANILA, Philippines – New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons players are now in London for their NBA game at the O2 Arena.
Thursday’s game is a regular league match, the 16th to be played in a foreign market and is designed to attract fans and spread coverage of NBA events outside of its usual fanbase.
The game sold out in four days, according to organizers.
The Knicks lead the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference with 24 wins, while the Detroit Pistons are fourth in the Central Division of the same conference. Mornings @ ANC, January 16, 2013
