Floods hit Metro Manila in the wake of overnight rains, triggering difficult traffic conditions.

As of 8:55 a.m., waist-deep floods have yet to subside in Barangay Roxas, while E. Rodriguez corner General Araneta is not passable to light vehicles due to knee-high floods.

Many passengers have been stranded.

Meanwhile, traffic is heavy along the Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard due to floods.

The traffic situation is expected to be moderate to heavy due to floods in EDSA southbound and northbound.

Earlier today, Pedro Gil-Taft, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard-Pureza, Espana-Lacson were not passable to all types of vehicles, while Ayala-San Marcelino, P-Burgos, Lagusnilad, Burgos-Victoria, and UN-Taft, as well as Blumentritt towards Lacson were not passable to light vehicles.

That's also the case for Katipunan Extension.

All PNR railway commuter trips were also cancelled. – ANC Headlines, September 15, 2012
