Senator-judge Jinggoy Estrada grilled Kaya Natin! leader Harvey Keh on Day 39 of the impeachment trial about his turning over unverified bank documents on Chief Justice Renato Corona alleged dollar accounts to the Office of the Senate President.

Estrada accused Keh of creating publicity by pitching the story of the alleged $2 million accounts belonging to Corona to a couple of media organizations.

Keh denied calling any reporter but admitted texting a friend who works for Abante tabloid.

Keh also confirmed mentioning the documents to Philippine Daily Inquirer's Tina Dumlao.

Estrada then called Keh a liar for saying he did not contact the media regarding the documents.

“Now you admitted that you are trying to call reporters and you are trying to offer these unverified documents. Sinungaling ka ah,” he said.
