Senate President and impeachment presiding officer Juan Ponce Enrile ordered witness Harvey Keh to show cause why he should not be cited in contempt for sending to his office documents in a bid to influence the impeachment court.

“You are trying to influence this court by bringing the documents. I didn't open the documents. I felt insulted and offended,” said Enrile.

Keh explained that he felt that the Senate as an impeachment court would be in the best position to decide what to do with the documents which, he claimed, were sent to him “anonymously.”

The documents showed that Chief Justice Renato Corona allegedly owned $2 million in several bank accounts.

Keh, the lead convenor of Kaya Natin!, is one of the complainants who filed a complaint before the Ombudsman in relation to Corona’s alleged dollar accounts.
