MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Koko Pimentel on Monday said the prosecution can no longer present information about an alleged US property of Chief Justice Renato Corona's daughter in the impeachment trial.
"It's too late in the day now because they have already rested," Pimentel said.
"All evidence not formally offered will be disregarded by the court. We will not pay attention to any so-called evidence not formally presented," he added.
The senator-judge said the only reservation made by the prosecution concerns Corona's dollar accounts, which were blocked from being opened by the Supreme Court.
