No major problems in mock polls - Comelec

MANILA, Philippines -- The nationwide mock polls is going smoothly, according to the assessment of Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes.

Speaking to media Saturday morning, Brillantes said there were no major problems in other precincts so far except for minor lapses at the UP precinct.

The poll chief said today's mock election is meant to test the transmission and the entire voting process.

He also assured the public the current voting process will save on waiting time and will not compromise the security of the ballots.
