Nueva Ecija is known as the rice granary of the Philippines, but it is also famous for its dishes such as tinumis, sinampalukang native chicken and longganisang Cabanatuan.

The Philippine Carabao Center in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija is holding a Carabao Festival. Visitors can sample ice cream, mozarella cheese and yogurt made from carabao's milk. Carabao's horns are transformed into wall decors, while its nails are made into coin purses. Winnie Cordero reports live. Umagang Kay Ganda, March 30, 2012
