Lee: Repair of Ondoy-hit cars may extend up to 2010

Elizabeth Lee, president of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Phils Inc., told ANC's Business Nightly in the first gap of Tuesday's interview that repair of some 14,000 to 15,000 cars damaged by Typhoon Ondoy (international code name Ketsana) may last up to the first quarter of 2010. Noting that a vehicle is the second largest purchase of a household, next to a residential place, Lee said CAMPI members are giving 10-15% discounts to Ondoy-hit victims.
