The country's economic managers will meet with credit investors in the United States next week. Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo, Bangko Sentral assistant governor Maria Cyd Amador and National Treasurer Roberto Tan will join the meetings, which will take place in New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco from June 11 to 15.
Purisima says they are excited to present the Philippine economy's first quarter growth, which was the highest in Southeast Asia.
The Philippine government hired Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup to arrange the meetings. ANC Dateline Philippines, June 4, 2012
