Aboitiz Power allots P85-B for power projects in the next 4 yrs

MANILA, Philippines - Aboitiz Power Corp. will spend P85 billion in the next four years to build new power plants all over the country.

During Wednesday's Economic Briefing at the PICC, Erramon Aboitiz, president at Aboitiz Power, said his company is committed to support government's public-private partnership projects which is critical for the country's long-term economic growth.

The Aboitiz Group had heavily invested in power in Mindanao, in which some areas continue to experience rotating power interruptions due to insufficient electricity supply.

Aboitiz said the company has allotted P35 billion for power projects in Mindanao for the next three years.
