Three graduates of West Visayas State University made it to the top 10 of September 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers.
Mary Clarence Madero, 21, of Pavia, Iloilo ranked first for the elementary level with a rate of 88.80 percent. She graduated magna cum laude in Bachelor of Special Education.
Madero is a Special Education advocate and hopes to practice her expertise in this field.
Another LET topnotcher is Maria Victoria Lionne Hierro who placed seven for the elementary level with a rate of 87 percent.
Hierro of Lapaz, Iloilo graduated magna cum laude for Bachelor of Elementary Education with major in Early Childhood Education.
Meanwhile, Franz Ian Solomon placed sixth in the exam for secondary level with a rate of 91.80.
The 21-year-old board topnotcher is a scholar of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). He graduated as summa cum laude.
