OFW's son tops November 2017 chemical engineer board exam

With a rating of 84.60%, 21-year-old Jared Philip Condez of the University of the Philippines Visayas was one of the two top passers in the Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination held this month.

He was tied in first place with John Cyril Pastrana Claur of the University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod City.

In a phone interview, Condez said he was surprised that he placed first in the exam.

He also said that the exam questions were difficult.

Condez dedicated his success to God and his family in Bugasong, Antique, especially to his mother who is an overseas Filipino worker.
