MANILA -- Months after Erich Gonzales broke up with her long-time boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga, a die-hard fan is hoping that the actress would have a coffee date with him.

Xian Gaza, a young businessman and single dad, rented a billboard along the busy streets of Morayta, Manila. It reads, "I can't even espresso how much I like you a latte. Will you... drink coffee with me?"

Gaza shared a photo of the billboard on his Instagram account, and used the hashtags #CoffeeWithErich and #PleaseSayYesErich. As of this writing, it has already garnered over 5,300 shares and 34,000 reactions.

Among those who saw Gaza's post is online show host Darla Sauler, who immediately sent a message to Gonzales who is currently on vacation.

Here's Gonzales' reply (unedited): "Hi Darls!!! :) How are you? Hahaha!!! Ang cute ng effort ni Kuya. It's fine. Let's see when I get back. There's nothing wrong naman if we talk over coffee, pero dapat kasama ka. Hahaha!!! See you soon Darls!"

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Gonzales said she is still in the process of moving on from her breakup with Matsunaga. She added that she is using this journey to learn more about herself, particularly her life goals.

Meanwhile, in a lengthy Instagram post, Gaza explained how his fascination for the actress started. It was in January 2017, he said, when while nursing a broken heart he accidentally met Gonzales while watching the last full show of "Assassin's Creed" at the Uptown Mall Cinema in Bonifacio Global City.

"After the movie, I mustered all courage I had up my sleeve in order to approach you and took this very selfie so that I may remember that magical moment. You, being kind, happily obliged. At that moment, you had left a massive imprint on my heart. You left me mesmerized," he wrote.
