MANILA – Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao said he may have lost his World Boxing Organization (WBO) crown to Timothy Bradley, but he has never complained like Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao said he accepted the loss because bad decisions are part of boxing.
“I lost the fight and I never complained. That's just part of the sport,” told Boxing Scene.
Compared to his trilogy with Marquez, Pacquiao said his bout against Bradley was almost one-sided.
Pacquiao said he knew he won the fight but he accepted the loss graciously.
“You know, if you compare my fight [with Marquez] to the Bradley fight, I think the Bradley fight is [a] worse [decision]. But I never complained. Did you hear from me, from my mouth that I'm complaining?”
In contrast, Marquez has been harping that he won all three fights against Pacquiao.
The Filipino boxer said he plans to vindicate himself when they square off again on December 8.
“I'm hoping for that. [There will be] more action in the ring. I will do my best and if I could have a chance to finish it early, why not?” said Pacquiao.
