MANILA, Philippines – Filipino mixed martial arts(MMA) fighter Eduard Folayang and Yaw Yan specialist Eric Kelly will headline URCC 22: Dekada MMA tournament at the SM Mall of Asia.
The fight card, set to celebrate 10 years of Filipino MMA, will take place on December 1.
Folayang, URCC Super Fight king and ONE FC superstar, will put his title on the line against American fighter Lowen Tynanes of Australia’s King of the Cage in the main event .
Kelly, on the other hand, will defend his URCC featherweight crown against Brad Terrey from Phuket Top Team.
Also to be featured is the bantamweight title clash between reigning titlist Jessie Rafols of d’elements and Keiff Mangusan of Baguio Top Team.
URCC founder Alvin Aguilar said the card was assembled in partnership with Colt 45.
“I’m glad to have Colt 45 as a partner in growing Philippine MMA and in helping develop our fighters to be world-class contenders, giving them the opportunity to showcase the best mixed martial arts our country can offer for the world to see,” Aguilar, the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belter in the Philippines, said in a statement.
