MANILA, Philippines – American referee Kenny Bayless has been tapped to officiate the fourth ring clash between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) chose Bayless, who has officiated several super-fights in Las Vegas, to call the shots in the Pacquiao-Marquez bout, according to RingTV.
Bayless has handled some of Pacquiao’s fights, including the Filipino’s ring clashes against Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto.
Other super-fights included on Bayless’ credit are Oscar de la Hoya versus Floyd Mayweather, Ricky Hatton versus Paulie Malignaggi, and Miguel Cotto versus Antonio Margarito.
Meanwhile, the NSAC picked Adelaide Byrd of Las Vegas, Steve Weisfeld of New Jersey and John Keane of England as judges in the Pacquiao-Marquez fight.
