MANILA, Philippines -- With only one game on tap in the National Basketball Association (NBA) schedule today, the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder made sure they didn't disappoint the fans.

The Spurs and Thunder went back and forth in a battle of two Western conference giants.

After the Thunder took a 3-point lead in the final minute of the game, the Spurs went to all-star point guard Tony Parker for the clutch plays.

First, Parker hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at the 28 second mark.

Then on the game's last possession, the Frenchman drilled a 21-foot jumper at the buzzer to lift the Spurs to an 86-84 victory.

Parker finished with 14 points and 11 assists.

Teammate Tim Duncan top scored for San Antonio with 20 points, while league scoring leader Kevin Durant had a game high 23 points for Oklahoma.

Durant also hit a career milestone as he became the 2nd fastest player to reach the 10,000 point mark. -- ANC
