MANILA, Philippines – Former mixed martial arts (MMA) champion Alistair Overeem picked Georges St-Pierre to win over Carlos Condit in Ultimate fighting Championship (UFC) 154.
Overeem is confident that St-Pierre can still get into shape despite the French-Canadian being sidelined by injury for over a year.
“I think GSP (St-Pierre) knows how to get in shape, he knows his body. I think he's a very intelligent, clever fighter. Is that gonna be enough for Carlos Condit? I think so,” the heavyweight fighter said in MMA Interviews.tv.
St-Pierre is the reigning UFC welterweight champion, while Condit holds the interim title.
The two fighters are scheduled to clash on November 17 for the undisputed championship.
“I think GSP's gonna get it,” said Overeem.
