MANILA, Philippines – World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Timothy Bradley Jr. expects another close fight when rivals Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez meet on December 8 in Las Vegas.
Bradley, who controversially defeated Pacquiao via split decision in June, told Boxing Scene that he is picking the Filipino fighter to win.
“I think it will be close, but I have Pac by decision,” Bradley said.
Bradley had been miffed when Pacquiao opted to face Marquez for a fourth time instead of taking him on in a rematch, and recently turned down a chance to face Lamont Peterson.
“I’m training now, just getting ready for whoever, whenever,” Bradley said. “Hopefully, I will be back in January or February. 2013 is going to be my year.”
