MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals are expecting a difficult game against higher-ranked Kuwait in their FIFA international friendly on Tuesday night.

But coach Hans Michael Weiss will be fielding a complete roster against Kuwait’s Al Azraq (The Blue).

According to the Azkals’ official website, the Filipino squad’s offensive lineup will be beefed up by Filipino-Spanish Angel Guirado and Demitrius Omphroy.

Omphroy had to sit out the Bahrain friendly due to stomach flu, while Guirado was also unavailable.

Siblings Phil and James Younghusband are also joining the fold after missing the Philippine Football Peace Cup due to scheduling problems.

Filipino-British keeper Neil Etheridge will also man the post against Kuwait.

The Azkals are seeking vengeance against Kuwait, which won their two-game duel in the World Cup Qualifiers last year.

The 112nd-ranked Kuwait defeated the Philippine squad, 5-1, on aggregate.

The vastly improved Azkals hope they will fare batter this time around.

The Azkals, rated No. 147 in the world, recently held 115th-ranked Bahrain to a scoreless standoff.

The exhibition games are part of the Azkals preparations for the Suzuki cup this November.
