San Beda College has its sights set on the only team to have defeated it thus far in the NCAA 93 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Before they get that chance, however, the defending champions will have to wrestle with their determined archrivals.
The Red Lions (15-1) want a win to keep building momentum for a rematch with league-leading Lyceum of the Philippines while Colegio de San Juan de Letran (8-8) wants a win to keep creating separating in the playoff race on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
The bell rings on Round 2 of the San Beda-Letran rivalry at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.
Meanwhile, Lyceum of the Philippines University goes for 17-0 against playoff-bound Jose Rizal University at 4:00 PM while San Sebastian College-Recoletos looks to take care of business against suddenly competitive Mapua University at 12:00 PM.
In Juniors action, the 11-5 San Beda Red Cubs shoot for a spot in the Final Four against archrival 10-6 Letran Knights at 10:00 AM while the 13-3 Malayan High School of Science Red Robins seek to push the 9-7 San Sebastian Golden Stags to the brink at 8:00 AM. There will also be a matchup between the 7-9 LPU Junior Pirates and the 6-11 JRU Light Bombers.
