List of UAAP champions in the Final Four era

MANILA, Philippines -- The UAAP switched to the Final Four format in the 1993-1994 season, wherein the four teams with the best records from the elimination round advance to the playoffs.

The top two teams will have a twice-to-beat advantage, with the top-seeded team going against the fourth-seed, and the second-seed battling the third-seed.

Since the Final Four format was implemented, only four UAAP teams have won the men's basketball championship:

  • Season 56: University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers
  • Season 57: University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers
  • Season 58: University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers
  • Season 59: University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers
  • Season 60: Far Eastern University Tamaraws
  • Season 61: De La Salle University Green Archers
  • Season 62: De La Salle University Green Archers
  • Season 63: De La Salle University Green Archers
  • Season 64: De La Salle University Green Archers
  • Season 65: Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles
  • Season 66: Far Eastern University Tamaraws
  • Season 67: Far Eastern University Tamaraws*

* In Season 67, the UAAP Board forfeited De La Salle's title after it was revealed that the Green Archers fielded two ineligble players from 2003 until 2005. FEU was declared the winner of the basketball championship.
