MANILA, Philippines - Dylan Arambulo of Fern-C Racing posted a double victory while Tai Zulberti of City Kart and Flynn Jackes of TRS-Castrol Kids topped their respective divisions in the Coca-Cola Karting Super Series at Clark International Speedway in Pampanga recently.
The 10-year-old Arambulo staged a big comeback in the final race to rule the Formula Cadet Expert and humbled his more experienced rivals in the Mini-ROK class on his very first try.
He beat title contenders Jackes and Gabe Cabrera in the Mini-ROK division of the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Coca-Cola, Yokohama Tires, Motorstar and Aeromed.
Despite the setback, Jackes still emerged the Mini-ROK champion with 501 points against Cabrera, who finished with 481 points.
Zulberti, meanwhile, clinched the Formula Cadet Expert crown.
Jose Luigi Lachica of One Racing also rallied in the final race to claim the Formula Cadet Novice title over Francis Mark Tanlu of AUTSRacing.
Other winners were Carl Luig of AUTSRacing who bagged the Formula SL Novice title over Raymond Cudala of Fern-C Racing and Jaz Monzones of Natmo Asia-GP1 Racing over Yvana Carangan of AUTSRacing and Wayne Darvin of One Racing.
