MANILA, Philippines – If Manny Pacquiao wants to hammer out a decisive win over Juan Manuel Marquez, he must find it in himself to go for the kill.

His boxing coach, Freddie Roach, said he plans to bring back the Manny Pacquiao that scored three first-round knockdowns against Marquez.

“Manny has shown him too much respect in the past two fights. This time Manny will go after him like the first fight,” the Hall of Fame boxing trainer said in RingTV

The Filipino champion sent Marquez thrice to the canvass in 2004, but settled for a draw. Pacquiao then won the next two fights against Marquez by decisions.

However, the Mexican’s counterpunching style has made the Filipino boxer looked very much vulnerable in their last two outings.

"Marquez is the smartest fighter of his era,” said Roach. “My job is to reignite the killer instinct Manny has lacked in the last fights with Marquez."

Pacquiao earlier said he aims to finish their fourth fight with a knockout victory and this pleased Roach.

“Manny told me he knows he needs a knockout. He’s never said that before,” said the American coach.
