MANILA, Philippines – Middleweight contender Michael Bisping said Stephen Bonnar is grossly overmatched when compared to middleweight king Anderson Silva.

"Let's be honest, more than likely, Anderson Silva's going to decapitate him," “The Count” said in MMA Fighting referring to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 153 main event.

Silva, nicknamed the “Spider” and the current mixed martial arts (MMA) pound-for-pound king, has an impressive record of 33 wins and four losses.

Meanwhile, Bonnar, who is a fan favorite because of his brawling style, has an MMA record of 15-7.

The Silva-Bonnar fight was set to fill the void created by the injuries of Jose Aldo and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

UFC 153 is scheduled to take place at Silva’s turf in Brazil.

Despite the mismatch, Bisping said the Silva fight will be attractive for Brazilian natives.

"I think from Anderson Silva's perspective it makes perfect sense. They lost the main event and the co-main event in the space of a day, Brazil's a massive market for the UFC now, it's beyond huge. They're going to put on a good card. The biggest star in mixed martial arts is Anderson Silva, who just happens to be Brazilian. It's perfect for the fans who get to see their hero fighting live in Brazil," said Bisping.
