MANILA, Philippines – NBA stars LeBron James of the Miami Heat and Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder are putting their rivalry aside this off-season.
The two All-Stars, who competed against each other in last season’s NBA Finals, are working out together in the off-season in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio.
The two dubbed the process “Hell Week” as they undergo a series of gruelling two-a-day workouts conducted by James’ personal trainer Mike Mancias.
The two NBA superstars also trained together in the previous off-season, which they credited to helping them reach the Finals.
James’ Heat defeated Durant’s Thunder in five games. James also won his third Most Valuable Player trophy last season, while Durant copped the scoring title.
James and Durant have also become good friends after leading Team USA to the gold medal in the London Olympics. -- Report from ANC
