MANILA, Philippines – Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre refuses to look past his UFC 154 opponent, Carlos Condit, even as rumors continue to mount about a possible "super fight" between him and middleweight king Anderson "The Spider" Silva.

St. Pierre is coming off a knee injury and will be fighting for the first time in over a year when he takes on Condit, the interim welterweight champion.

But even with St. Pierre's bout against Condit looming, the Brazilian Silva has said that he is interested ina possible mega-fight with the Canadian superstar.

Even UFC president Dana White has said that a Silva-St. Pierre clash is possible – if St. Pierre manages to defeat Condit.

But in an interview with MMA Weekly, St. Pierre revealed that he does not welcome any talk of a Silva fight.

"It's terrible. I hate that," St. Pierre said. "I'm not focusing on that. I'm not speculating."

St. Pierre believes that it is “disrespectful” to talk about a mega-fight with Silva when he has not yet even faced Condit.

"I'm thinking about Condit right now, that's what I should do," he said.

Moreover, St. Pierre said his work in the welterweight division is not yet done.

"I feel like I have a lot of guys that are there," he said. "I don't understand why people are going crazy now, but I just came back from an injury."

"Maybe some people see me as a weak link. We'll see what's going to happen in the future," St. Pierre added.
