MANILA, Philippines – It seems that prison time did little to change Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The unbeaten American boxer was recently shown in a video showing off his vast wealth, including a private jet and $1 million in cold cash.
“We're heading to Miami, baby," said the 35-year-old Mayweather before boarding the private jet.
The footage later showed Mayweather inside the plane, stacking loads of cash on a table.
"That's $700,000," he said, before pulling out more bills from a black bag.
The video was posted by DATFLIX.com on YouTube on August 21.
According to RingTV, Mayweather earned a combined $85 million for his past two fights.
He was named by Sport’s Illustrated as one of the highest-paid American athlete for 2012, outranking the likes of golfers Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
Mayweather also outranked Manny Pacquiao in Forbes’ list of 100 biggest paid international athlete.
In that list, Mayweather was No. 1 followed by the Filipino champion who raked in $62 million from earnings and endorsements.
However, the controversial American boxer spent two months in jail for domestic battery.
