MANILA, Philippines -- Two of the three Mexican fighters who will be seeing action in Pinoy Pride XV: Philippines vs Mexico this weekend have arrived in Cebu.

Mexicans Jorge Pazos and Angel “Arcanghel” Martinez were scheduled to land Mactan Cebu International Airport 10:50 a.m. via Philippine Airlines Flight PR 853.

Team Mexico, which will be headed by party spoiler Rosbel Montoya who beat young Philippine prospect Jason Pagara last year, will be joining his countrymen later on Tuesday as he is set to arrive 11:55 pm.

Montoya will again face Pagara in a rematch with the Mexican aiming to prove his earlier win over the Filipino was no fluke.

The bout will be for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) International junior lightweight championship.

Pazos will be seeing action against talented prospect Genesis “Azukal” Servania in a 12-round title bout with the WBO Asia Pacific super bantamweight title at stake.

Servania will be gunning for his second straight title following his World Boxing Council International Silver super bantamweight title win over Genaro “Poblanito” Garcia.

Completing the Mexican trio will be Martinez, who is out to prove to Jimrex Jaca that his youth won’t be a hindrance. Martinez will be facing Jaca in a non-title bout.

The ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports presentation of Pinoy Pride XV will be telecast via Channel 2 starting 10:15 am. There will be a replay at 6:15 pm on Studio 23 the same day.
