'Little Olympics' NCR kick off reset

MANILA, Philippines – Organizers announced that the opening ceremonies of this year’s Milo Little Olympics NCR elimination leg have been postponed due to the effects of the monsoon rains in most parts of Metro Manila.

The opening of the NCR elimination of the nationwide junior interschool sports competition for elementary and high school student-athletes has been to August 31 at the Marikina Sports Park, Marikina City.

The event will last until September 2.

The NCR leg will also have its second run on September 8-9 also at the Marikina Sports Park.

The 2012 Milo Little Olympics Luzon leg is slated on August 17-19, the Visayas leg on August 24-26, and September 1-2, and the Mindanao leg on September 7-9.

All winners from the elimination legs will represent their region in the National Finals in NCR on October 19-21.
