MANILA, Philippines – Filipino-American cyclist Danny Caluag finished last in the seeding phase of the London Olympics BMX competition held on Wednesday.
Caluag, the remaining Pinoy competing in the Olympics, had a time of 40.9 seconds, to rank No. 31 among 32 riders.
He was 3.121 seconds behind top finisher Raymon van der Biezen of the Netherlands.
Latvia’s Edzus Treimanis actually ranked lower than the Filipino-American rider, but he did not finish the seeding phase.
