MANILA, Philippines – Adamson University guard William Polican will be out for two more weeks after suffering a knee injury, according to Falcons head coach Kenneth Duremdes.

Polican has already missed two games for Adamson – a 49-50 lost to the University of Santo Tomas and their now infamous 25-62 defeat to National University on Wednesday.

"Polican is out I think for two weeks pa. He will be back, hopefully, against UP," Duremdes said.

The Falcons play the Fighting Maroons on August 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Polican, who scored 16 points in Adamson's loss to University of the East, was sorely missed by the Falcons against the Bulldogs, said Duremdes.

"He's our energizer kasi," said Duremdes of the first-year guard. "Siya 'yung nagbibigay ng energy sa team."

"Kanina, the way you see it na wala siya, walang nag-energize, as in wala. Flat right from the start," he added. "Siguro kung naandoon siya, kahit papaano, na-lift niya ng kaunti 'yung energy."
