Neal opted to sign with Milwaukee over the Atlanta Hawks.

Neal became an unrestricted free agent when San Antonio withdrew its qualifying offer earlier this month.

The Houston Rockets signed unrestricted free agent center Marcus Camby, the team said.

Camby reached agreement with the Rockets on a one-year contract for the veteran minimum $1.4 million, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The Los Angeles Lakers hired Kurt Rambis and Johnny Davis as assistant coaches, the team announced.

They join the Lakers coaching staff headed by Mike D'Antoni.

The staff also includes Dan D'Antoni, Mark Madsen and Larry Lewis.

The Dallas Mavericks announced they signed first-round draft pick Shane Larkin.
