MANILA, Philippines – Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire's boxing career is back on track after signing a 4-year deal with boxing promotion company Top Rank.
Donaire's manager, Cameron Dunkin, told RingTV.com that the Filipino-American boxer signed a "very healthy" deal with Top Rank.

"Nonito signed... a 4-year deal, so he's going to be around Top Rank for a while," Dunkin said.
Donaire's boxing career had stalled since his spectacular knockout victory over Fernando Montiel last February, as he was mired in a contract dispute between Top Rank and its rival, Golden Boy Promotions.
Donaire has a 26-1 win-loss record, with 18 victories coming via knockout.
According to Dunkin, they expect to set a date for Donaire's next fight soon.
The deal with Top Rank was brokered by the promotion’s president, Todd duBoef, Donaire, and Donaire's wife, Rachel.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN, Donaire said he did not regret the contract dispute that postponed his rise to boxing superstardom.
"I don't have regrets, because (Top Rank) learned to respect me and they've learned to value Filipino fighters... I stand for my rights. I don't want anyone taking advantage of me," Donaire said. -- With a report from Bev Llorente, ABS-CBN News North America
