MANILA -- NBA superstar LeBron James has arrived in Manila on Wednesday for his second Philippine visit.
The two-time NBA champion and four NBA Most Valuable Player landed in Manila at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday on board a Gulfstream 5.
The Cleveland Cavalier will grace the Nike Rise Philippines' developmental program and serve as mentor of the finalists of the Nike Rise project against a UAAP selection at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.
This is James's second visit to the country in three years.
His first visit was in July 2013 while he was still a player for the Miami Heat. That trip was part of a whirlwind, multi-city tour also sponsored by Nike.
This time, the NBA superstar is expected to spend a longer time in the Philippines and will reportedly visit some tourist spots after the Nike event.
