MANILA, Philippines – Team Lakay’s Geje Eustaquio will get the chance to become a world mixed martial arts (MMA) champion when he collides against Brazil’s Adriano Moraes for the vacant ONE FC flyweight title in September.

The bout will be the main feature of ONE FC’s fight card in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on September 12.

Eustaquio has vastly improved since getting outpointed by Andrew Leone and was able to post successive wins over Eugene Toquero and Kentaro Watanabe.

The string of victories earned him a shot to become the inaugural ONE FC flyweight champion.

Standing in his way is Moraes, who is considered one of the most dangerous fighters in the world.

The Brazilian submission expert already has a record of 11-1 and has recently forced Kosuke Suzuki to tap out via an arm-triangle choke.
