MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATED) The cast of NBA stars that will test the Philippine national team is complete after it was announced that James Harden, Tyson Chandler, Brandon Jennings, and Ed Davis will be flying to Manila next week for a pair of exhibition games.
Businessman Manny V. Pangilinan announced Tuesday afternoon that Harden, Chandler and Jennings have been added to the line-up of NBA stars who will play against Gilas Pilipinas in "The Last Home Stand" on July 22 and 23 at the Araneta Coliseum.
It was later revealed that Davis, who last played for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA, will also be joining the event.
Pangilinan announced Monday that Indiana Pacers All-Star Paul George and Toronto Raptors high-flyer Terrence Ross will be joining the games.
It was previously announced that Blake Griffin, Damian Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowry and Nick Johnson will also be part of the All-Star line-up that will play against Gilas Pilipinas.
Next week's exhibition games are part of the national team's preparations for the FIBA World Cup in August in Spain.
Tickets are already on sale at the Araneta Coliseum ticket booth and all Ticketnet outlets starting at P750.
The Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation and Caritas Manila are the beneficiaries of the event.
