MANILA, Philippines -- Thanks to his 3 blockbuster fights vs Sugar Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Timothey Bradley in the last 12 months, along with several international endorsements, Manny Pacquiao was the 16th richest celebrity in terms of earnings for 2011.
The fighting congressman earned a whopping $67 million in the last 12 months to beat US business mogul Donald Trump who earned $63 million, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest who got $59 million, Britney Spears' $58 million, and even Justin Bieber's $55 million.
Pacquiao even beat global icon athletes like Tiger Woods who only earned $58 million and Lebron James of the Miami Heat who earned $53 million.
Topping the list of top earning celebrities in the last 12 months was Oprah Winfrey who earned $165 million and movie producers Michael Bay $160 million and Steven Spielberg $130 million.
Meanwhile, as Pacquiao climbs the list of Forbes richest, he is surprisingly out of another list he normally tops, the ESPN's ESPY Awards.
Pacquiao won the award in 2009 and 2011for the Fighter of Year category of the ESPYs, but this year, he is not even one of the four nominees.
Nominated in this year's ESPYs Fighter of the Year are boxers Floyd Mayweather and Andre Ward joined by the UFC's Jon Jones and Anderson Silva.
But as Pacquiao exits this year's ESPY nominations, another Pinoy climbs the ranks.
The NBA Champions Miami Heat's Fil-Am Coach Erik Spoelstra made it to the nominees for Coach of the Year together with champion coaches from college basketball, pro football, and pro hockey.
