MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Richie Garcia denied an online report which stated that his agency is planning to sue the United Football League (UFL).

The report claimed that the PSC held the league liable for the reported damages in the stadium following Global Football Club’s title win last week.

The report also quoted Garcia accusing the league of allowing alcohol in the stadium premises.

But Garcia denied that his agency is suing the UFL.

“They just want people to fight. Sorry, no plan to do such thing,” said the PSC chairman.

Global FC won their first league title on goal difference against runners-up Kaya FC, after a 1–1 draw with third-placers Loyola Meralco Sparks.

The PSC manages the stadium, which is part of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
