MANILA, Philippines – GlobalPort has traded away former UAAP standout RR Garcia in exchange for Barako Bull’s forward Keith Jensen.

According to the PBA website, the trade was approved by league commissioner Chito Salud.

Garcia, a former UAAP Most Valuable Player, averaged 6.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game under GlobalPort.

He is now expected to split time with Barako Bull’s Jeric Fortuna in the point guard position, while moving players Willie Miller, Bonbon Custodio and Denok Miranda to the 2 guard spot.

The 6-foot-4 Jensen, meanwhile, can play small forward and power forward positions and is expected to help the likes of veterans Jay Washington, Eric Menk and Yancy de Ocampo.

Jensen has recently improved his norm to 6.0 points per game on 38 percent shooting from the three-point area. He also averaged 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game.
