MANILA, Philippines – Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez is due for a July fight against a Filipino boxer who bears an uncanny resemblance to Manny Pacquiao.

The Mexican counter-punching specialist will be facing relatively unknown boxer Al Sabaupan, a southpaw just like Pacquiao.

Apart from having a boxing stance similar to the Pacquiao’s, the 23-year-old Sabaupan also sports a beard and a moustache like the Filipino boxing idol.

According to Boxrec, Marquez will be squaring off against Sabaupan on July 21 in Mexico.

Sabaupan hails from Agoncillo, Batangas and has a professional record of 19 wins (14 knockouts) and 1 loss.

The Mexican apparently picked the unheralded boxer to prepare for a possible fourth fight against Pacquiao.

Marquez also did the same thing before his third bout against the Filipino superstar, taking on Likar Ramos in a tune-up fight.

Marquez wants to fight Pacquiao again, especially after losing via unanimous decision to the Filipino last November.
