MANILA, Philippines – Timothy Bradley branded his own boxing promoter Bob Arum a liar for claiming that the American made an admission that he lost the fight to Manny Pacquiao.

Bradley, who was handed a controversial split-decision win over Pacquiao, claimed that he told Arum that he felt losing to the eight-division champion during their 12-round title fight on June 9.

"I told Bob I did the best I can. I got injured. That was it. That's all I said to Bob. I didn't say, 'Bob, I couldn't beat that guy,'” Bradley said in Fight Hype.

The newly crown World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion vowed to confront the Top Rank CEO once they meet face-to-face.

“He's a liar and I will tell him that to his face," said Bradley.

Bradley said Arum may have made the statement because of Pacquiao’s defeat.

The American boxer claimed that the boxing promoter may have had difficulties coming to terms with the loss because Pacquiao is Top Rank’s most prized fighter.

"Bob's going to say that because that's his cash cow. The fact he lost to me, that's hard on him. That's hard on everyone," he said.

“I would never say that (losing), because I thought I won the fight," said Bradley.
