Anthony Semerad scored 14 points, 12 of them in the game's final 6 minutes to help TNT defeat Barangay Ginebra 107-103 in Game 2 of their best-of-5 semifinal series in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday.

The loss, Ginebra's second in the series, put the top-seeded squad on the brink of elimination.

His team trailing 96-90, Semerad buried back-to-back triples to help TNT gain the upper hand 99-98. A see-saw battle ensued, with Semerad sinking two more 3-pointers to help the KaTropa seize the lead on separate occasions, his 4th giving his squad a 105-103 lead with 53 seconds to go.

After Ginebra came up empty in its possession, TNT called for a timeout setting a play that left Jayson Castro open for a triple. Castro missed, but Joshua Smith grabbed the rebound and scored to make it 107-103 with 8 seconds left and seal the win.

Smith finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds, while RR Pogoy added 14. Castro chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.

Brownlee and LA Tenorio scored 22 points each for Ginebra, which saw its bench get outscored 51-22.
