Who was Enzo Pastor?

MANILA - Enzo Pastor was the first Filipino ever to be invited to compete in US NASCAR through the K&N Pro Series East.

Before his death, he was actively participating in the Asian V8 Championship series which was organized by his father and Philippine Formula Autosports Foundation Inc. (PFAF) president Tom Pastor.

Among his career achievements were:

2nd runner-up in Macau Grand Prix and 1st Runner-up in Philippine Touring Car Championship finishes in 2009; participation in the 2008 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC); and a 4th runner up finish in the 2004 Asian Formula 3 Series.

He also participated in the Nascar Whelen Euro Series where he finished in the Magic 6 of the final standings.

Last December, he was given an All-Star award during the Night of Champions NASCAR Gala in Charlotte, North Carolina for his NASCAR feat.
