MIAMI - Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was slapped with a $5,000 fine for flopping after he over-exaggerated a foul in game two of the NBA finals, the league announced Monday.
Wade drew a foul against San Antonio Spurs Manu Ginobili with just over four minutes left in the second quarter of Sunday's contest.
Wade was holding the ball near the sideline when Ginobili took a swipe at it, brushing the ball. Wade threw his head back and Ginobili was called for a personal foul by the referee.
The Heat won the game 98-96 to level the best-of-seven series at one game each.
Game three is Tuesday night at AmericanAirlines arena in Miami.
