San Mig survives Air21 in OT

MANILA - San Mig Coffee Mixers outlasted Air21 Express in overtime, 113-109, in the 2014 PBA Governors' Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday.

Joseph Yeo almost stole a win for Air21, sinking a 3-pointer that tied the score at 109-all with just 1.9 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, according to the PBA website.

However, the Mixers held the Express scoreless in the last 3:37 of the extra period to win their fifth game in the conference.

San Mig's Marquis Blakely came up big, filling up the stat sheets with 36 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 7 blocks.

Meanwhile, Dominique Sutton led Air21 with 22 points while Asi Taulava chipped in 21 points.

The win put the Mixers within half a game from the league leaders Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters.
